Erin Update

I got an email update from Erin just wanted to pass it on to everyone. She will be back in Atlanta on Sunday Wahoo!

"I just got done bunjee jumping and just wanted to let you all know I made and am still alive to write this e-mail. It was amazing! But definatly crazy! I popped a bunch of little blood vessels in my face because it was so much force going head first! Anyways, just wanted to put you all at a little ease that I am alright. (I know some of you, Dad, were not huge fans about me doing it). Tomorrow I start the journey back home. 7 hour bus ride to Lusaka and the fly out on Saturday morning and home Sunday night. I love you all so much and can't wait to tell you all about my adventures in Africa.

Capitalizing on the Fear of Recession has Hit a New Low!

Tiffany's is an Adult Establishment that I drive by on my way to work and there newest message board says “Recession Special - $5 Lunch”. If we were in a recession right now I hope you wouldn’t be thinking “I need to save some money, forget McDonalds, I’ll grab lunch at the strip club”.

Bailey has really been missing his mom. He tried to poke his eye out today because he is so sad :(I don't know what happened I just went out to play with him and his eye was nasty.

Erin made it to Zambia!

Erin was trying to email this out to everyone but something was wrong with her internet in Zambia(who would have thought).
"Greeting to all my friends and family from Zambia!
After a few looong flights Brittany and I have made to Zambia with
very little headache. We luckily (long story) found each other
in Heathrow Airport in London and then had a ton of fun riding the
underground and exploring London during our layover. The only bad
thing was that neither of us thought to bring a coat and it freezing
there! But it fun to get out and kill time before our flight to
Zambia. Once arriving here we got our visas with no issues and are now
just hanging out and enjoying the ride. Just wanted to let you all
know that I made it safe and sound and can't wait to tell you all more
when I get back.

Trip to North Carolina!

Paul and I took a little weekend getaway 2 weekends ago to North Carolina since we knew we would have 4 weeks away from one another :( Asheville was a great little town with fun shops and restaurants and lots of hippies! Paul and I ate lots and lots of food, went hiking and even got a couples massage. It was a ton of fun. Paul is now in Dallas and I leave on Thursday to Zambia!

ITS HERE ITS HERE!

LOST that is! Paul and I are WAY into the TV show LOST. And as you know we are not huge TV people but this show has got us hooked. We watched the first few seasons in only a couple of weeks and have been anticipating the new season. Tonight is the season premier and I am seriously watching the clock. We are even having a little party to bring in the new season. LOL. I just hope that the entire season has been written otherwise those writers need to get back to work! Anyways. If any of you are LOST fans, enjoy tonights episode.

My first baby shower!

My great and wonderful friend Joelle is about to have twins and I had the privilege of throwing her a baby shower. It was my first time throwing one and I loved it! I think I had more fun than Joelle. Because she is having twins I went with a "2 peas in a pod" theme. It was too cute. Everything was pink and green. I even made custom made m&ms that had "Congrats Joelle, 2 peas in a pod" written on them. This is a great and easy way to personalize something. We played some silly games including who could drink a bottle the quickest, and this is harder then it looks! I thought it would take like 2 minutes for adults to drink 5 ounces and it took like 10 minutes. Least to say we had so much fun showering Joelle and can't wait to meet Presley and Lyla.

The Big Southreaster Storm

So all on my Thursday meeting at work have been cancelled in anticipated of a Southreaster Storm. A Southreaster is a lot like a Noreaster but without snow and temperatures never go below 30˚. So if your live in Atlanta its time to pull out your down coats and fur bootz.

Happy New Years!

I know this is a little late but, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a great time celebrating wherever you may have been. It seems like we have friends all over the world now. Paul and I brought in the new year with some good friends with a little party at our place. We even played a little beer pong for old time sake. Our friend David received an actual beer pong set for Christmas with cups, net, paddles, balls and all from I think a parent or grandparent, Crazy eh?!?! And Paul and I are not so good at this game! Least to say we had a good time hanging out and bringing in 2008. It will be great in 2008 (why does everyone keep saying this?) I have heard great in 08 about 1,000 times.

Thanks for the TV

Thanks to everyone who has been chipping in on my TV over the last couple months. I have been saving all of my birthday and Christmas money for a new TV or camera. So this weekend I had enough money to get the TV I wanted. Its a 42" Opus LCD by LG. It didn't look very big at the store but when I got it home and setup it looks huge. Well if you are in ATL at the end of the month we are throwing a Lost party to kick off the new season.

Chicago RDC Trip

So I took my first official business trip with my new job. We went out to Chicago to tour one of new RDC (Regional Distribution Center). The building was ginormous! It was a lot of fun, long hours, and butt cold. Before I came home I was also able to visit my Grandparents (grandpa and I were wearing matching sweaters) and I also saw our friends the Sitko's.

Stroup's Trip

For Thanksgiving we had my(Pauls) Family in town. My aunt, uncle, grandpa, grandma, mom and dad got to see all of the major attractions in Atlanta.

Our Trip to Disneyworld

A few weekends ago Paul and I enjoyed a little trip out to Disney World. Our friends had some free tickets and invited us along. So we took them up on it and had a great time. After all, it is the happiest place on earth. Here are a few pics!

I Start My New Job Today!

So I (Paul) got a promotion at work! I am now a Senior Supply Chain Analyst of Project Implementation. Besides my sweet new title, I will enjoy moving away from programming and start project management. This is a new position for the company so who knows what I will really do but it will be an exciting adventure. Erin and I both start our new jobs today so I thought this tooth paste for dinner was appropriate. Good luck Erin you will do awesome because you are awesome!

The Cinocco's came to town!

My parents were able to make it out to Atlanta a couple weeks ago and we had a great time. We went to the beach, ate yummy seafood and just enjoyed time with one another.

A new job for Erin

As many of you know, I have been working at a Pilates Studio for the past year. And as many of you know, taking the job was the only way I could get of that horrible nightmare of a camp job I got when we first moved here. (the one with all the tears shed, ankles sprained and bites) I am now on to bigger and better things! It has taken me a while to find my way "carrer wise" in Atlanta but now feel like I may have found my niche. While doing my wedding planning business on the side for the past 9 months, I have met a ton of people. Florist, DJs, Bands, Photographers and caterers. One caterer that I worked with on a few occasions called me up and said that he loved working with me and wanted me on his staff. He said he would "work on it". Then I didn't hear from him and thought really nothing of it. I just figured I was destined to work a Pilates Studio forever. I got a call from him on Friday and he offered a full-time event planning job through his company, Badda Bing Catering! He also wants to bring my business along side with his and help me build it. Its all kind of confusing but basically, my hard work has paid of and am now going to be able to quite the studio and begin event planning full-time! Its hard to believe I have only been at event planning for 9 months and is now a full-time thing. I wanted to let you all know how excited I am and I know Paul and some news about his job to share as well. He should be posting something soon. I hope you are all well and love and miss you guys.
