Man vs the Mouse and there was a tie

So, I have been trying to rid our house of a little mouse. Over that past two weeks we have had two traps set and ready to go every night with some kind of food. Peanut Butter, cheese, egg, and butter. Every night this mouse sets off the trap and the dogs bark and there is a big ruckus in the Stroup household. And then when I get up in the morning, looking forward to throwing a dead mouse away before Erin sees it, nothing, just a foodless trap. But, last night the winds changed. I got up to make my coffee thinking I would just see another trap with no food, but this time is was a bloddy scene. Blood all over the countertop, but no mouse! GRRRR! The mouse still got away. So now I am beting we have a dying or dead mouse in our walls. The battle continues!

Celebrity Sighting!

So Paul and I and some of our new friends went to this little trendy southern breakfast place after church. It is called the Flying biscuit. http://www.flyingbiscuit.com I, now being a southern bell got nothing other then some fried green tomatoes and biscuits. (What has happened to me?) Anyways, I had to make a bathroom run and walked by the bar. I walked past non other then the famous Oswald from The Drew Carey Show! AKA the cool mullet guy in Office Space. It was totally him! I look him strait in the eye and he just have gave me a little smile. It was pretty exciting! Who knows who we will see next?

Petit Le Mans

So this is my first post on the super famous
PaulandErinStroups blog. So to make it extra special I will write about
something I did two weeks ago. I have already told everyone about it too. So if
bored please just make alot of comments about how cool this short story is. So
I went to the Petit Le Mans in Atlanta
with my Uncle Don and my cousin Daniel. It was a blast (even if long)! The race
started at 11:45am and was 10 hours long. We got nice and early at 6am to make sure we could walk around and see
all the rich guys show off their poorly driven super costly sports cars. After
that we watched the race for a couple minutes and back to walking around and
eating. So most of the race was walking around till there was a crash then
watching it on the speed channel’s jumbotron. By the end of the race we got to
sit down and watch the last hour and saw a couple more crashes. I really enjoyed
the race but next year I may just watch the short 3 hour clip show on Speed.

I am finished!

I now am officially done chasing after crazy teenage girls. No more spraining ankles, no more tackling kids to the ground, and no more being called every possible word you could think of in the "dirrty language dictionary"! Although this was all very exciting and made for some funny stories, I couldn't take it anymore. I am now the official office manager of a hip little Pilates studio called "Studio Lotus". Now I will be working for a bunch of hippies and meditate all day long while doing some crazy moves! Just kidding, but hopefully I will loose some flab and gain some muscle. Thank you all for your support while I have tried to find my little nitch in Atlanta.

Our trip to Savannah

We had an awesome trip to Savannah this past weekend. We ate at an awesome little place called the Crab Shack where we got to eat shrimp and crab legs right on the river. Then we got to walk around the old streets of Savannah and shop a little as well as admire all the cool southern history Savannah has. We also went the the beach. It was Erin's first time in the Atlantic ocean. It was so nice and relaxing. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
