Christmas 2009

Paul and I were able to go out to Colorado again this year it celebrate the holidays. We had a great time visiting with my family. We even got the chance to go rent a cabin the in the mountains and enjoy some cross country skiing and snowshoeing. But this Christmas was also sad as we were not able to spend any time with the Stroup family. None of them live in Colorado Springs anymore :( So that was a little hard to get used to. We were so spoiled being able to see everyone when we flew in. But, it was a great trip for us and very relaxing.

We have now been in our new house for about a month and are finally feeling pretty settled after a lot of late nights and weekend work. We are defiantly not done with our list of to-do's but, I don't think we will ever be done now that we are home owners again :) For now, we will take a little hiatus and enjoy some time off over the holidays. We are absolutely loving our new place and it has been amazing to see the transformation. We feel incredibly blessed to have such a beautiful home. We have had lots of request for pictures so here are some before and after pics!
